A Guide to Placing a Humidifier in Your Baby’s Room
Put the Nursery Humidifier on a firm, waterproof surface out of the crib’s reach. A dresser across the room is better than the rail of the crib. Cool mist only — GETGADGET nursery units are not steam vaporizers.
Aim for a humidity feel that is comfortable, not tropical. If windows fog or the floor feels wet, you are overdoing output. Empty the tank if you will be away for a day; the self-dry cycle helps, but a closed room with a full tank still needs a sane schedule.
Keep essential oils off a baby’s humidifier unless a clinician has told you otherwise. Our aroma tray is for adult bedrooms. For filter changes and cleaning, follow the card in the box and the Installation page.
