Installation Instructions

Most GETGADGET hardware is meant to install without a plumber. If a step does not match your plumbing, stop and email info@getgadget.xyz rather than forcing a fit.

Filtered showerhead (fixed or mini)

1. Unscrew your existing head from the shower arm. Keep a towel in the tub.

2. Wrap the arm threads with plumber’s tape if the old joint was leaking.

3. Thread the GETGADGET head on by hand, then snug with a strap wrench if needed. Do not crush the finish with metal pliers.

4. Run water and check the joint. The cartridge seats inside the body; do not disassemble it for first use.

Handheld filtered showerhead

1. Remove the old head.

2. Attach the GETGADGET connector to the arm, then the hose, then the handheld.

3. Seat the holder on the arm or wall bracket included in the box.

4. Test the pause switch over the tub, not over the floor.

Bath tub filter

Clip or rest the filter on the spout according to the diagram in the box. Fill the tub through the filter. Replace the cartridge monthly with heavy use. Do not submerge the body overnight after the bath.

Faucet filter

1. Unscrew the aerator on a standard faucet.

2. Check the gasket kit for the thread that matches yours (most U.S. faucets are covered).

3. Screw on the GETGADGET filter and set the lever to filtered for brushing teeth or rinsing produce.

4. If your faucet is a pull-down sprayer or a nonstandard thread, write us before returning — we may have an adapter.

Humidifiers and purifiers

Place the unit on a waterproof tray, at least a few inches from the wall. Fill with cool tap water (distilled in very hard-water homes). Do not run the humidifier empty except for the designed dry cycle. Plug into a grounded outlet. Keep aroma trays to a few drops — oils do not go in the main tank unless the manual for that model says so.

Sound machine and diffuser

Place on a stable nightstand. The diffuser needs water plus a few drops of a GETGADGET blend. Auto shutoff will end the cycle when the reservoir is low.
